Walton-on-the-Naze Open Gardens

23rd & 24th June 2018

Walton in Bloom organises the Walton-on-the-Naze Open Gardens event.

Now in it's 8th year, this annual, community event has brought like-minded people together, and created a community-centred event that everyone can participate in.

If you are unfamiliar with the concept, a group of private gardens will be open to the public over the weekend of 23rd and 24th June. Visitors buy a single ticket which enables them to view all of the gardens taking part.

This year we have thirteen gardens taking part, featuring a wide variety of sizes, shapes and planting styles, with more than one surprise to be found among them. This year we have two gardens opening that belong to artists, where not only will you be able to see their gardens, but also their wonderful artwork too.

There will be a tombola, plant and craft sales, art exhibtions and sales as well as a range of delecious refreshments on offer too.

Admission is by ticket only and costs £5 per adult over 16. This ticket is valid for both days, so if you don't make it round them all in one day you can can use your ticket again the next day. Tickets are available from some of the gardens taking part on the day. You can check where to buy your ticket on one of our free maps...

You can download a map and guide here if you wish to visit the gardens open for 2018.
